At 8:30 a.m. on September 3, Suzhou Taisun’s two meeting rooms were packed with staff. To honor revolutionary martyrs and carry forward the great spirit of the War of Resistance, the company arranged in advance, splitting on-site employees into two venues to watch the live parade for the 80th anniversary of the Anti-Fascist War victory on HD screens.

At 9:07 a.m., as the stirring March of the Volunteers echoed from the screens, staff in both meeting rooms rose to their feet almost simultaneously. All employees stood solemnly, gazing at the screen and singing the national anthem in unison. On screen, Tiananmen Square was a sea of red flags with salutes thundering into the sky. Inside the venues, the team stood tall. Every note of the anthem embodied reverence for history and deep devotion to the nation.

At 9:45, the march-past began. General Secretary Xi Jinping reviewed the ground formations in a vehicle. The troops on parade were smart and high-spirited, with armored vehicles lined up neatly in formidable array. Then the airborne flag-guarding echelons flew past Tiananmen Square in the shape of the number "80". Next came the foot formations advancing with resonant goose steps. Every kick reached exactly the same height and every arm swing was perfectly uniform — embodying the spirit of Chinese service members. In the armament columns, new-type tanks, fighter jets, missiles and other weapons and equipment appeared one after another. The iron torrent rolled forward, drawing quiet cheers from the audience. This is a demonstration of national strength and the source of our confidence in peace. As aerial echelons soared over Tiananmen, aircraft formations released coloured smoke, drawing graceful arcs across the blue sky. Staff in both meeting rooms were awed by the spectacular sight. A strong sense of pride welled up in their hearts, filled with sincere wishes for the prosperity of the motherland.

This group viewing event not only enabled all employees to revisit those arduous years, but also forged unity amid awe and inspiration. Participants shared that they will translate the feelings aroused by the parade into work motivation. With the awareness of "remembering history" and the sense of responsibility to "create the future", they will work diligently in their respective positions.
